Rudder Pedal Modification
Page 2
A blind nut permits anchoring the cable clamp from the outside only.
Installation complete, note cable clamps supporting pivot tube bracket and turnbuckle used to "extend" and adjust rudder cables. A decorative cap plug is used to close tube hole at original pivot tube location. (Headlight is not reinstalled yet.)
Note the leg angle and knee height changes made by moving the rudder pedal forward 4".  This modification also increased my body contact area with the seat which more evenly distributed my weight on it.  This modification increased my fanny comfort too!
First flight with modified rudder pedal position, adjusting the turnbuckle allowed my foot to change from upright to an angled position.  What an improvement!
